In December 2024 we took the decision to close the Milnsbridge office, with our Moldgreen office becoming the central contact point for all our valued clients.
Many of our clients will fondly remember the Milnsbridge office as a small restaurant ‘Moonlight’ which Joanna’s parents ran back in the 1980’s. In the early 90’s it became an Antiques shop, with her Mum establishing Milnsbridge Accountancy Services upstairs. In 2005 Joanna joined the practice after gaining her Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser qualifications working at one of the top firms in Manchester.
In 2011, Geoff Powney of Moldgreen was looking to retire and asked Joanna to take over his practice, and she merged the two client bases to form Hancox & Co Ltd.
Interesting little fact:
Joanna’s mum used to work for Geoff before starting her own business, and they worked together over the years.
In 2024, after the retirement of a couple of members of staff, we decided to refocus all our energy in the Moldgreen office. Having all the team in one space allows us to create a safe and supportive environment, and work much more efficiently.
We would like to reassure our clients that the move won’t impact negatively on our working relationship or the level of service received. Our name, friendly faces, phone numbers, email and WhatsApp will all remain the same.
For those clients who haven’t been to the Moldgreen office yet, we are located less than 5 minutes from Shorehead Sainsburys on the way to Waterloo M&S.
